Town-by-Town Rainfall Totals For The Hudson Valley: NWS

The highest wind gust reported by the National Weather Service whistled up the Hudson River at 65 mph.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Most communities in the Hudson Valley reported more than 3 inches of rain in the storm that knocked out power to thousands before dawn Monday.

The storm caused flooding, closed roads and schools and caused power outages to more than 30,000 customers across the region. SEE:

Final rainfall reports showed up to 5 inches of rain fell in 24 hours, the National Weather Service reported at 5 p.m. Monday.
