National Night Out Will End Early In Croton-on-Hudson

Village officials are concerned about the weather.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY —Officials in Croton-on-Hudson have decided that, due to the forecast of heavy rain, the National Night Out event scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in the Stanley H. Kellerhouse Municipal Building Parking Lot will conclude early at 7 p.m.

The truncated event will still offer fun, community building, and safety awareness.

  • Meet and greet with local police officers, firefighters, and EMS personnel
  • Explore specialized equipment and vehicles
  • Interactive activities for children and families
  • Live music and games
  • Community information booths
  • Free food and refreshments
  • The Croton Fire Department and EMS will also be in attendance, engaging with the community and showcasing their services.

Special attractions:

  • A dunk tank hosted by the Police Benevolent Association (PBA), with proceeds benefiting My Sister's Place, supporting victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
  • Free face painting for children by a talented local artist from 4 to 6 PM.
