Obituary: Patricia Germinaro, 77

Patricia Germinaro, known to most as “Pat,” passed away on July 9 at the age of 77.

The Hopewell Junction resident was born on Feb. 12 in Buchanan to Louis Perricelli and Helen Hankel. She was a Croton-on-Hudson resident for more than 40 years of her life.

Germinaro married her late husband Joseph J. Germinaro of Croton-on-Hudson in 1958. She worked for the Town of Cortlandt for two decades in the planning, police and sanitation departments. 

Germinaro was an active volunteer with the Silver Linings group at her parish; loved spending time with family; traveling; reading; history and supporting Native Americans. 

Her children Joseph III, Mark, Stephen, Michelle and her grandchildren, survive her.

Visiting is on Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Edward Carter Funeral Home in Montrose. The mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 12 at The Assumption Church in Peekskill followed by the interment as Assumption Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor.
