Ossining Police Chief To Leave At Year's End
Police Chief Kevin Sylvester joined the department in 2003 and became chief in 2016.
OSSINING, NY — The village of Ossining will be looking for a new police chief.
Ossining Police Chief Kevin Sylvester informed his department that he will be leaving at the end of the year, the Journal News reported.
The change comes at the end of several months of personnel problems, such as allegations of discrimination and a romantic relationship with an officer, along with a lawsuit from two former police officers.
