Ossining Police Make Numerous Marijuana-Related Arrests

One man was found with 12 bags of marijuana and a knife, another with six bags, police report.

On Labor Day, Village of Ossining Police charged an 18-year-old Claremont Gardens resident with unlawful possession of marijuana following an alleged menacing with a knife incident.

Police responded to a call about a man menacing someone with a knife on State Street. They found a man who fit the description a few blocks away. They stopped the man and found 12 bags of marijuana in his possession along with a large silver folding knife, Lt. William Sullivan said.

Police charged the man with only with possession of marijuana, as "there was no evidence to support the other charge," Sullivan said.
