One person was injured in a crash at Maple Street and Old Post Road South in Croton’s upper village on the morning of August 29.
The Croton Fire Department reports that they, along with police and EMS, responded to a call for an accident around 8 a.m.
Fire volunteers assisted the EMS crew with getting a female driver out of one van and helped the police with traffic control.

Workers removed the van’s sliding door once the woman was out in order to make it safe for towing. The door was “hanging off the car at the point of impact,” fire officials said.
All units, with over a dozen fire department volunteers on the scene, had the scene cleared in a half an hour.
