Volunteer Opportunities Of The Week: Nature Guides Needed
Every week, Patch will spotlight volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Each week, Patch will be highlighting volunteer opportunities in the Hudson Valley. This will be a chance to help your community and be an opportunity to give back — perhaps in a way you didn't consider before.
This week, we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
Nature Guides Information Session
Teatown Lake Reservation's Nature Guides assist in teaching educational programs for visiting schoolchildren from September through June. No prior experience is necessary—Teatown's education staff will provide training for all new guides. This role requires a six-month commitment of two hours per week, plus attendance at monthly guide meetings. This is a rewarding way to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards!
