$425 Million Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold on Long Island
BREAKING: Someone who bought a ticket on Long Island has won the eighth largest Mega Millions jackpot in the history of the game.

GLEN HEAD, NY – A single winning ticket for a massive $425 million Mega Millions jackpot in Tuesday night's drawing was sold on Long Island, New York Lottery officials said.
The ticket, which matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball, was sold at Brookville Auto Service looked at 5050 Northern Boulevard in Glen Head.
The $425 million jackpot is the eighth largest in the history of the Mega Millions, which is played in 44 states.

Three second-prize winning tickets worth $1 million were also sold in New York at the following locations:
- Old Village Pantry, 1 Broadway, Pleasantville
- Price Chopper, 11 E. Main St., Canton
- Mike & Faye Deli Grocery, 42-25 235th St., Little Neck
The winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were 34, 44, 57, 62, 70 and Mega Ball 14. The odds of winning the jackpot: 1 in 302.6 million.
