• $13.9 million Lotto ticket sold on Long Island (timesunion.com) — A $13.9 million New York Lotto jackpot ticket was sold in Hicksville, a hamlet within the Town of Oyster Bay, making one local player very lucky. The winning ticket, bought at Lovely Cards and Gifts on South Oyster Bay Road, matched all six numbers from the Dec. 24 drawing, and the prize can be claimed for up to a year.
