Bayville Man Impersonates NYPD Officer: Police
The man was knocking on doors looking for someone he was in a dispute with, police say.

A Bayville man was arrested for pretending to be a police officer and knocking on doors in the Carle Place area on Tuesday, police say.
According to authorities, multiple residents on Cornwall Lane reported to police that 29-year-old Brett Zebrowski was knocking on their doors and identifying himself as a NYPD officer around 4:50 p.m.
An investigation revealed Zebrowski is not a police officer of any jurisdiction and was attempting to locate a person in regards to an ongoing dispute, police say.

He was arrested without incident and charged with three counts of second-degree criminal impersonation. He was arraigned Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
