• Firefighter Suffers Hand Injury, Oyster Bay Office Building Fire: FD (patch.com) — A serious office-building fire on South Street in Oyster Bay sent one firefighter to the hospital with a hand injury and drew about 75 firefighters from multiple nearby departments. Crews contained the blaze to the second floor within an hour, and investigators from the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s Office and NCPD Arson/Bomb Squad are now probing the cause.
