'Dear Santa': LI Children Now Have Direct Way To Reach St. Nick With Christmas Letters
The Town of Oyster Bay will be collecting children's letters to Santa starting on Friday; kids will also receive a letter back.

NASSAU COUNTY, NY β Time to write those holiday wish lists β the Town of Oyster Bay is bringing children's letters to the North Pole.
Children can drop off their holiday wish lists at mailboxes across Nassau County, and the Town of Oyster Bay will forward the letters to Santa.
According to officials, there must be a legible name and return address in order to receive a letter back from Santa before the holiday. No postage stamp is necessary.

Mailboxes will arrive from the North Pole on Friday and will accept letters through Dec. 15. The red mailboxes will be accessible during business hours (9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.) at the following locations:
- Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay
- Town Hall South, 977 Hicksville Road, Massapequa
- Ice Skating Center, 1001 Stewart Avenue, Bethpage
