A total of 148 public schools in New York received the 2021-22 Scholar-Athlete School of Excellence Award, including Oyster Bay High School.
OYSTER BAY, NY — Oyster Bay High School is among 148 public schools in New York to receive the 2021-22 Scholar-Athlete School of Excellence Award.
To earn the School of Excellence award, 75 percent of a school's varsity teams must qualify and receive the scholar-athlete team award during the academic year. The award is presented by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, Inc.
The scholar-athlete team award is given to schools that have 75 percent of their roster with a GPA greater than or equal to 90.
