Oyster Bay Town To Give $4.5M In Pandemic Hardship Grants To Local Biz

The Oyster Bay Forward Program will allocate $5K grants to businesses, nonprofits that can demonstrate economic hardship from the pandemic.

OYSTER BAY, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay announced this week that they will award $4.5 million in federal funds to local businesses and nonprofits that can demonstrate financial hardship from the pandemic.

Businesses with less than 50 employees and nonprofits can apply for $5,000 grants from the Oyster Bay Forward Program beginning Tuesday.

“After a year-plus long pandemic and now facing an economic recession, small businesses need all the help they can get to stay afloat,” Oyster Bay Town Joseph Supervisor Saladino said.
