Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Bethpage Crash: Police
The teen was hit by a Chevy Tahoe on Stewart Avenue, Nassau police said.
BETHPAGE, NY — A 16-year-old girl was seriously injured Thursday afternoon when she was hit by a car at the intersection of Stewart and Burkhardt avenues, Nassau police said.
The Eighth Squad is investigating the incident, in which the teen was hit by a woman driving north on Stewart Avenue in a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe at 3:55 p.m. The SUV's 40-year-old driver remained at the scene, police said.

The girl was transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation. She was listed in critical but stable condition, Nassau police said Thursday night. No further injuries were reported
