Sid Jacobson JCC Gets $850K Grant From Departing Rep. Suozzi For Roof

The East Hills Jewish community center is one of several Nassau County recipients of end-of-term grants from outgoing congressman.

EAST HILLS, NY — Last week, Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center (JCC) in East Hills was awarded a $850,000 grant from outgoing 3rd District congressman Tom Suozzi.

Suozzi awarded $14 million to 15 projects across the district on Dec. 28, his last legislative act before leaving office on Jan. 3.

Sid Jacobson JCC will use the money to replace the roof at the main community center.
