Teen In Critical Condition After Crash In Plainview: Nassau Police

PLAINVIEW, NY — A teenager is hospitalized in critical condition after a crash in Plainview at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday, Nassau police said.

According to detectives, a 17-year-old in a 1998 Toyota Corolla was northbound on Route 135 where he was in a collision with a 2013 Range Rover being operated by a 26-year-old woman who was also northbound.

The teen was transported via Police Helicopter to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition, police said. The woman, who remained at the scene, refused medical treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
