Trains on the Oyster Bay Branch are experiencing delays after a train car struck a vehicle on the tracks on Thursday afternoon, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority says.

According to the MTA, the train struck an unauthorized vehicle on the tracks near Glen Street Station.
Some eastbound trains have experienced delays as long as 74 minutes.

The 3:50 p.m. train from Jamaica due at Oyster Bay at 4:47 p.m. was also cancelled due to late-arriving equipment.
Another option instead of the LIRR train is to take the Glen Cove Ferry.
