The 2023 People's Ball Is Coming To The Brooklyn Public Library
Guests are invited to dress up and strut the runway at the free event horning "the colors, textures, and styles that comprise the city."

PARK SLOPE, NY — Get ready to celebrate "style, imagination, freedom, and you" — the Brooklyn Public Library is gearing up for the 2023 People's Ball at Central Library on April 30, and a dance party is on the agenda.
Guests are invited to dress up and strut the runway at the free event, which "honors the colors, textures and styles that comprise the city’s urban runway," the library said in a flyer about the event.

The event will be co-hosted by actress Delissa Reynolds and arts leader Rob Fields and feature performances by singer Cunio and DJ sets by Rimarkable. Special guests include fashion curator Souleo and five People’s Heroes whose work has changed the culture.

Set to take place at Central Library's Grand Lobby on Sunday, April 30 at 7 p.m., The People's Ball has reached capacity but patrons without registration can wait on a standby line and will be able to enter if capacity allows, according to the library.
