3 New Restaurants That Opened Recently In Park Slope
From an all-vegan spot to a new Italian place, several new places have opened their doors around the neighborhood recently.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Several new eateries have set up shop in Park Slope this month, offering residents everything from an all vegan spot to a space serving up regional Italian dishes with a large wine list.
Here's a round-up of new spots to check out around the neighborhood:
Fautso

Fautso took over from the neighborhood favorite Franny's earlier this month and offers a menu of regional Italian dishes with a focus on seasonal ingredients, according to their website.
The menu, created by Chef Erin Shambura, includes bites like arancini, tagliatelle with lamb shank ragu, shrimp crudo and more. The spot also has a large wine list curated by owner Joe Campanale with bottles produced from around Italy, France and California.

For vegan diners looking for a place to eat, La Vellutata opened their first spot out of Italy late last month to fill the void.
La Vellutata took over the former storefront of the Perfect Potato and features a menu of soups, burgers, salads and more created by owner and chef Elisa Mazzucatio, Bklyner reported.
The menu is completely vegetarian and vegan and is the second eatery operated by Mazzucato's family. The first has been open in Venice, Italy for around 20 years, according to Bklyner.
For vegan diners looking for Italian dishes, La Vellutata came from Venice late last month to fill the void.
The space took over the former storefront of the Perfect Potatoe and has a menu of soups, burgers, salads and more created by owner and chef Elisa Mazzucato, Bklyner reported.
La Vellutata is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Negril BK
256 5th Ave., 347-721-3801, Caribbean
Down the block on Fifth Avenue, restaurateur Peter Best opened the Caribbean spot Negril BK last week.
The space has a menu created by Executive Chef Kingsley John withdishes like jerk lamb meatballs, jerked oysters, braised oxtail and more, according to Our BK Social.
The three-room eatery also has a lounge area and a late-night speakeasy dubbed the "Rum Shop" which will be open until 2 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday. The spot will also offer brunch on the weekends.
Best also owns Williamsburg's Streets BK along with a Negril Atlanta, but he is no longer affiliated with Negril's location in the West Village, Our BK Social reported.
Negril BK is open 5 p.m. to midnight Tuesday and Wednesday; 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays.
