Beloved Vietnamese Eatery Moves Down The Block In Park Slope
The new storefront is the only change at Hanco's, an employee told Patch, noting that the menu of banh mi, pho and bubble tea is the same.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Neighbors in Park Slope shocked to see a longstanding Vietnamese restaurant on Seventh Avenue closed just need to look farther down the block.
Hanco's, a beloved eatery that's stood on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 10th Street for a decade and counting, recently relocated two storefronts down the same avenue.
Asked if rent at the new — noticeably smaller — storefront had anything to do with the move, an employee at Hanco's told Patch that the new building is simply a "better location."

In lieu of its green awning and large indoor dining area, the new Hanco's outpost has a sleek black-and-white storefront with slightly less indoor seating, photos show.
The employee added, though, that the move is the only change at the restaurant, which has kept its same (well-reviewed) menu of banh mi, pho and bubble tea drinks.
