PARK SLOPE, NY — Your eyelids are becoming heavy and you're following the sound of my voice to the gym.

That's what hypnosis specialists at Blink Fitness will tell patrons as part of its new "Gymnosis" program, designed to motivate Brooklynites to get off the sofa and on the treadmill, the chain announced this month.

“Logic, reasoning and willpower are not always enough to convince ourselves to exercise,” Carolyn Barnes, a certified clinical hypnotherapist and wellness expert, who will be leading the virtual hypno-session, said in a statement.

“By accessing the subconscious mind, we can start to change the default switch from old patterns that don’t serve us, to new ones that do.”

Patch confirmed that all Brooklynites can participate in in-person or virtual sessions offered at the Blink Fitness on Fourth Avenue and President Street from Sept. 12 to 18.

The free program will also available to current members and will kick off with a virtual session on Aug. 29 at 12 p.m.

The sessions last approximately 45 minutes and are conducted in a group setting with approximately 10 to 30 people per session. Registration is required and limited slots are available.

Blink Fitness contends the technique will tap subconscious brain power to create positive change through deep relaxation.

The technique is heavily used by celebrities and athletes — among them, reportedly, Tiger Woods and Olivia Munn — to overcome mental hurdles, the gym chain added.

“A commitment to working out and wellness takes personal motivation,” Todd Magazine, CEO at Blink Fitness, said in a prepared statement. “Mustering that motivation can be hard."
