Bodycam Video Shows Cops Shoot At Man In Chase By Barclays Center
Police just released body camera footage of the October incident, which led cops on a chase for a man with a gun around Flatbush Avenue.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Newly-released body camera footage shows the dramatic chase that ended with a police shooting near the Barclays Center earlier this year.
The footage, released on Friday, shows several angles of the moment Officer William Mattocks shot at 21-year-old Nasir Fisher as he led cops on a chase in his BMW near the venue one October afternoon, according to police and the video.
Fisher, who was not hit by the shots, was later charged with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to police.

Cops had descended on the crowded streets surrounding the Barclays after someone called 911 to report a man in a BMW with a gun, according to police.
When they got there, police found Fisher and a passenger double-parked in front of a Chick-fil-A on Flatbush Avenue and walked up to the car, asking him to roll down his windows, according to video.

Fisher ignored the officers, who then took out their guns, and drove away, hitting one of the cop cars as he made a U-turn onto Flatbush Avenue, according to the video.
"What are you doing?" Mattocks can be heard yelling. "Stop moving the car!"
Police later caught up with Fisher when he got stuck at a red light on Atlantic Avenue behind a Toyota, according to the video.
The cops again tried to approach the BMW as Fisher started to drive away, one of the officers trying to break the window by hitting it with the back of his gun, according to police and video.
Mattocks fired twice at the car while Fisher jumped the curb of a pedestrian median, video shows.
Fisher got away driving the wrong way down Atlantic Avenue and was arrested later that day, police said.
The shooting was the second near the Brooklyn venue in less than a week at the time.
Just days before, a 21-year-old was shot in the shoulder near Flatbush and Fifth avenues.
The NYPD's Force Investigation Division is looking into the incident with Fisher.
