Cafe Replaces Bike Shop On Park Slope's Fifth Avenue

Cafe Rose Petals has an extensive, health-conscious menu, including a variety of grain bowls and nine kinds of avocado toast.

BROOKLYN, NY — A new cafe opened on Fifth Avenue, just across the border of South Slope.

Cafe Rose Petals opened its storefront at 610 Fifth Avenue, near the corner of 17th Street, this week, replacing a bike shop that relocated to the Brooklyn Army Terminal during the pandemic.

The new cafe boasts a long menu of breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, salads, and drinks — many of which are health- and nutrition-conscious, like coffee with hemp milk, nine kinds of avocado toast, and a variety of grain bowls.
