Choir Concert Coming To Park Slope Church Sunday
The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's 40-plus-person ensemble performance is one of several events the conservatory is putting on this month.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Sounds of nature and hope will fill a Park Slope church this weekend as a 40-plus-person choir performs an hour of contemporary music.
The ensemble event, which kicks off on Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church (located on St. John's Place between Sixth and Seventh avenues), is put on by the Brooklyn Conservatory Chorale under the leadership of Dr. Nick Nicassio. Tickets for the event cost $15 for members and $20 for non-members.
In addition to its usual slate of workshops and classes, this weekend's concert is one of several musical events that the local conservatory is organizing for the community this month.

The Brooklyn Conservatory is also putting together a concert on March 26th only featuring female composers (like Florence Price, Teresa Carreño, Makiko Kinoshita, Cécile Chaminade, and more) in honor of Women's History Month.
Aptly titled "Trailblazers," the concert will be held at the Brooklyn Conservatory, located on the corner of Lincoln Place and Seventh Avenue, and tickets cost $8 for kids or $12 for adults.

Both of the concerts are open to the community, but everyone who attends must be vaccinated, save from children under five-years-old, who need to present a negative PCR test done within three days to the event or a rapid test taken within six hours of the event, organizers said, adding that attendees need to wear masks throughout both concerts.
