PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for an attempted rapist who assaulted two women just hours apart in Prospect Park on Saturday.

The man first came up to a 34-year-old woman who was walking near Prospect Park West and Fifth Street around 1 p.m., police said.

He pushed the woman against large rocks, put his hand over her mouth, took out a condom wrapper and threatened to hurt her, according to police. He let the woman loose when he placed the wrapper on the rocks. She ran away while he stayed at the scene, police said.

Just a few hours later, another woman, 57, was walking along a trail near Prospect Park West and Fifth Street and saw the man masturbating, police said. As she walked past him, the man began to follow her, according to police.

When she turned around to see if he was following her, the man ejaculated on the woman, police said. The woman ran away.

The man is described as standing 6'0" tall, is between 25 and 30 years old and has facial hair, police said.
