PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A popular Brooklyn-based pizza chain is opening a new outpost on Fifth Avenue in Park Slope, state records and reports show.

Emmy Squared Pizza plans to open an eatery at 315 Fifth Ave., near Third Street, according to New York State Liquor Authority records.

Should the authority approve the license, Park Slope diners should be able to enjoy a full bar and square pizza in the former home of the French eatery Nubleu — which Patch reported opened in 2021 — and El Habanero, according to a liquor license request filed Tuesday.

Commercial Observer reports the pizzeria signed a 10-year lease for the 2,200-square-foot space that asked $10,000 a month.

“The area has been experiencing an influx of new eateries, including fast-casual, healthy concepts, and of course pizza," James Monteleone, of All Points Real Estate, told Commercial Observer.

"It’s very gratifying to be a part of this resurgence in the restaurant industry.”

Emmy Squared launched in Williamsburg in 2016 and spread quickly across New York City — opening restaurants in the West Village, the East Village — with a total of 19 locations across the U.S., according to its website.

Patch also reported in June that Emmy Squared would open on the Upper West Side.

Its Park Slope liquor license is pending review.
