F And G Train Service Delayed After Signal Problems, MTA Says
The signal problems caused some Brooklyn-bound trains to end early and others to run express in both directions, the MTA said.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Signal problems between two stations crippled the F and G lines on Monday afternoon, causing some trains to halt service early and others to skip stops, the MTA said.
Every signal between the 15th Street-Prospect Park and the Fort Hamilton Parkway stations had issues starting shortly after noon on Monday, a spokeswoman for the agency said.
The signal failures led to some Brooklyn-bound F trains to end at the Second Avenue or Jay Street-MetroTech stops. Some Brooklyn-bound G trains were halted at the Bedford-Nostrand Avenues stop because of the problems, the MTA said.

The issues also caused some F and G trains to run express both ways between the Smith-Ninth Streets and the Church Avenue stations, according to the agency.
