Female Bank Robber in Headscarf Gets Away With $7K

The Brooklyn she-robber hit up the Santander Bank near Park Slope on Saturday morning, police say.

An unidentified woman in a headscarf made away with $7,000 last weekend after robbing the Santander Bank at 234 Prospect Park West in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, police said.

The suspect walked into the small Santander branch just after 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, police said, then “approached a teller, passed a written note and demanded money.”

The teller complied, according to the NYPD, and handed the suspect approximately $7,000 in cash.

Brooklyn’s she-robber reportedly fled before police could be called to the scene.

The suspect is described as a petite black female of an unknown age, weighing around 115 pounds and standing around five-feet-four-inches tall.
