PARK SLOPE, NY — The annual festival offering tastes from restaurants and bars along Fifth Avenue returns to Park Slope next month, organizers announced.
"A Taste of Fifth," organized by the Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District, will be held at the Grand Prospect Hall on April 10 and feature food and drinks from more than 45 restaurants and bars in Park Slope.
"'A Taste of Fifth' is a great time to sample offerings from favorite spots and to discover some new additions to Fifth Avenue," Mark Caserta, executive director of the BID, said in a statement.

New eateries like Negril BK and Il Sogno Secondo will serve up dishes at the festival for the first time year next to neighborhood fixtures like Prospect Bar & Grill and Yayo's, according to the BID.
Attendees will get free samples from the restaurants along with cocktails, beer and wine. The event will also have music from the jazz group Hot Club of Flatbush and DJ Ace, an NYPD lieutenant who moonlights as a scratch DJ.
