There's something about the sidewalk window at Neergaard Toys that brings the kid out in everyone.
Action figures of all shapes and sizes are assembled in a simply fun fashion for the window display thats hard for anyone walking down 5th avenue in Park Slope to miss.
It's something that helps attract kids of all ages, says store manager Noel Suarez.
"I do that myself and change it from time to time," he said. "It helps bring everyone up here."
Suarez spoke with Patch about some of the latest toy trends and the diverse clientele he sees at his store located above Neergaard Pharmacies at 454 5th Ave.
"The kids come in for your average ninja turtles and the adults come in and will spend the money on the collectibles," Suarez said
"The Play Arts series has some of the best sellers," he continued. "Girl stuff, baby dolls are doing well. Impulse items people pick up really quickly too."
Not only are the displays loaded with toys, but so are the shelves. With action figures, games, dolls and more, it's not hard to find something fun.
