PAJAMA PARTY at BAX!

Why Go: Parents should take advantage of the Super Sitters and enjoy an evening on their own. The BAXco Teens, along with experienced BAX staff Donna and Gina, are offering a night of fun and play for your little ones. Take a night off and support the Teen Dance Company at the same time. Your kids will enjoy an evening full of fantastic games, dance party, stories and food. Why Go: The silent film, The Loves of Pharaoh (1922) is resurrected at this BAM performance accompanied by an 18-piece ensemble performing a new score by Joseph C. Phillips Jr. Stay after for a post-show talk.

Lisa is an engaging performer whose original music span groove, genre and topic. She recently placed seventh on Indie-Music's Top 25 list of 2012.

150 Free Trees at Gowanus Canal Conservancy!
Where/When: 2 2nd Ave, Sunday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m.
Why Go: Build It Green NYC and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy have partnered with NYRP's Million Trees NYC program to giveaway 150 trees to Brooklyn residents this fall! You can sign up now to reserve your tree here, and select from the different species of trees available. The pick up date will be Sunday, October 21st between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., at the Salt Lot at 2 Second Ave in Gowanus. Help spread the word and take home a tree of your own to help meet PlaNYC's goal to plant one million new trees!
