Helicopter Lands In Prospect Park For Fleet Week
The NYPD advised that a helicopter may land in the park Saturday.

PROSPECT PARK, BROOKLYN — The NYPD said Saturday that a helicopter may possibly land in Prospect Park as part of Fleet Week demonstrations.
According to photos posted to Twitter, it seems the helicopter did land in the park Saturday.

The NYPD said that from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the U.S. Marine Corps would conduct various demonstrations as part of Fleet Week.
Fleet Week, now in its 30th year, offers New Yorkers a chance to meet members of the forces patrolling the world's waterways and see ships that showcase the best of the maritime services. The week kicked off with the Parade of Ships on May 23.
