John Jay High School Slashing, Biting Injures 3, Reports Say
One person has reportedly been arrested.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Two people were slashed and one person was bitten outside of John Jay High School in Park Slope on Wednesday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
A fight broke out outside of the school, which was having its graduation on Wednesday, according to ABC7 and NBC New York.
A 19-year-old man was slashed on the back and hand, and a 42-year-old man was slashed in his ear, the stations reported. A 17-year-old was also bitten in the chest during the scuffle, the stations said, and one person has been arrested.

"Safety always comes first. The NYPD immediately responded to a serious incident that took place near the John Jay campus in Brooklyn," Department of Education spokeswoman Toya Holness said in an email to Patch. "Students, staff and families are safe, and individuals involved are being treated for minor injuries."
The NYPD's press office said it had no information about the incident when reached by Patch.
