Map: These NYC Affordable Housing Developments Are Now Accepting Applications
Featuring more than 30 affordable developments throughout the city.
NEW YORK CITY, NY — The real-estate and design website 6sqft put together a useful interactive map last week featuring the more than 30 housing developments in the city currently accepting applications from low- and middle-income individuals.
According to the site, single-person homes are available to those making between $18,789 and $36,000 per year, while middle-income single individuals can earn anywhere from $44,400 to $105,875 annually.
Mayor Bill de Blasio has set a goal of building 80,000 affordable units by 2024, while preserving an existing 120,000 units.
