New Park Slope Favorite, Lore, Opens For Brunch
The eatery's farm-fresh, South Asian-inspired dinner menu has racked up positive reviews since opening in February. Now, brunch is served.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A recently-opened, but quickly beloved, Park Slope restaurant just added brunch to its farm-fresh, multicultural menu.
Lore promised to serve brunch "soon" when it opened in February on the corner of Seventh Avenue and 15th Street (replacing Camperdown Elm which shuttered during the pandemic), and it made good on that promise last weekend with its first-ever brunch service.
Like the rest of its menu, brunch at Lore promises multicultural offerings — with a slight South Asian bent — made with ingredients from local farms.

Puff pastry samosas with tamarind chutney and mango cashew crème, and jjajangbap (a Korean black bean sauce) served over rice and eggs, are on the menu alongside rum-infused banana pancakes and chia pudding.
Since opening, Lore has become a quick neighborhood favorite, garnering positive reviews for both its dimly-lit atmosphere, which landed it on a list of the city's most romantic restaurants, and its South Asian-inspired menu, which Brooklyn Magazine said will "make you happy."
