Outdoor Dinner Party Returns To Prospect Park This Summer

Tickets for the second annual Prospect Park Soiree outdoor dinner party went on sale this week, the park announced.

PARK SLOPE, NY — An outdoor dinner party with dancing under the stars will return to Brooklyn's backyard for the second time this summer, the Prospect Park Alliance announced.

The second-annual "Prospect Park Soiree" which raises funds for the site will be held at the Peninsula in the park on June 23 with tickets going on sale Tuesday, the park announced this week.

The park sets up tables, decorations, music and lawn games for the outdoor party and invites attendees to bring their own food and wine for the event.

Guests are asked to wear a "fabulous hat or headpiece" to the dinner and ticket sales will go towards the Prospect Park Alliance who maintains and runs the park.

The alliance started the fundraiser last year to celebrate the park's 150th anniversary and decided to bring it back again this year after it proved popular with guests.
