Outdoor Ice Skating Opens In Prospect Park For The Season
The LeFrak Center rink is open every day for 90-minute sessions, the Prospect Park Alliance announced Tuesday.

The year's outdoor ice skating season has officially kicked off in Prospect Park, opening the LeFrak Center rink for 90-minute sessions each day of the week, the Prospect Park Alliance announced Tuesday.
The 2021 outdoor ice skating season, run by LeFrak operator Upsilon Ventures, brings open skating sessions, skating lessons, figure skating, hockey and curling back to Brooklyn's backyard. It is the second year the rink will offer timed, limited capacity sessions given COVID-19 regulations.

Skaters will be required to wear masks and socially distance when using the rink.
The LEED-certified facility includes 30,000 square feet of skating surface on both covered and open air rinks with a view of the Prospect Park Lake.

Here's what you need to know about the season:
Sunday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Prices:
Weekdays (Monday-Friday until 4 p.m.): $8
Weekends (Friday starting at 4 pm-Sun) + Holidays: $12
Skate Rentals: $8
