Park Slope Bank Robber Hits Second Branch, NYPD Says
The man who robbed a Park Slope bank last week was linked to the attempted robbery of one in Sheepshead Bay on Thursday, police said.

PARK SLOPE, NY — The man who robbed a Park Slope bank last week has tried to hit a second Brooklyn branch, police said.
The suspect walked into the Chase Bank, at 1722 Avenue U, in Sheepshead Bay, at about 2:25 p.m. on Thursday and handed the teller a note demanding money, the NYPD said. He fled the spot without any cash, authorities said.
The man was successful on Jan. 6 when he handed the teller at the Capital One Bank, at 516 Fifth Ave., a note demanding cash at about 11:51 a.m., police said. The teller gave him an unknown amount of money and the suspect fled on foot northbound on Fifth Avenue.

Police described the suspect as about 30-years-old, 6-feet tall, weighing around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, sunglasses, blue pants and black sneakers.
