Santa Photo Opps Coming Up in Park Slope
Santa will be available to meet his tiny fans in Park Slope on the first three Saturdays in December.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — If you're a fan of photographing your beaming children next to the season's most famous philanthropist, then you're in luck.
Santa himself will be greeting his fans and taking pictures in Park Slope during each of the first three Saturdays in December. The mood will be further elevated by carol singers from Opera on Tap, who will be performing impromptu street concerts in the neighborhood as well.
The photo shoots are sponsored by the Fifth Avenue Park Slope BID. The first and third are free, while the second costs $10 (though the photos will be taken by a pro). Here are the details, courtesy of the BID:

- On Dec. 3, Mr. Claus will be at Pure Bistro (88 5th Ave.) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- On Dec. 10, he'll be at the Old Stone House (336 3rd St.) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., where for $10 you can engage in crafting, drink cocoa, and have your photo taken by Marc Goldberg.
- And on Dec. 17, Santa will plant himself at Sidecar (560 5th Ave.) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
