PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A Park Slope favorite is in a flowering of new Michelin guide picks.
Flora, an Italian restaurant along Eighth Avenue near 11th Street, is among 17 new additions across New York City to the prestigious guide for 2023, the culinary tastemaker announced this week.
Inspectors for the guide evidently walked away impressed by a recent visit to Flora.

"If it seems difficult to find good food at a good price in Brooklyn's South Slope, then you haven't been to Flora," the entry states.
"The food is as winning as the ambience."

Michelin gushed over Flora's "simple, but delicious" bell-shaped ravioli filled with imported ricotta di bufala, dressed with shaved and sprinkled bottarga di muggine, fragrant lemon rind and crunchy breadcrumbs.
They raved that the delizia al limone is a "bite of sunshine."
Flora's addition to the guide potentially puts it in the running for a Michelin star or other honor.
