Police Investigate Violent Early Morning Robbery In Sunset Park
The perpetrator has not been arrested yet.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who assaulted a pedestrian and stole cash and a cell phone in Sunset Park, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the police, the victim was walking near the corner of 3rd Avenue and 32nd Street on Sunday at 5 a.m. when an unknown man approached him from behind and struck him over the head with an unknown object.
Then, the perpetrator placed a knife against the victim's neck and stole cash and a cell phone before running away in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn with gashes on the back of his head, according to the NYPD, and is in stable condition.
Police said that the perpetrator, who has not been arrested yet, is a man with a medium complexion and a slim build and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, light blue jeans, and black sneakers.
