Police Video: Man Wanted In Connection To Park Slope Stabbing

Police are looking for a man who stabbed a pedestrian near Grand Army Plaza last Tuesday.

BROOKLYN, NY — New York Police Department officials released footage of a suspect Monday who is wanted in connection to a stabbing in Park Slope last week.

Around 9 p.m. last Tuesday night, an unknown man stabbed a pedestrian in the vicinity of 54 7th Ave., New York City Police Department officials said.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, was walking northbound on 7th Avenue when the unknown perpetrator approached, stabbing the victim once in the chest with a black-handled knife before fleeing southbound on 7th Avenue, police said.

The victim was transported to Methodist Hospital by emergency responders and is in stable condition, according to NYPD officials.

Police are asking for anyone with information about the incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
