Rihanna’s Lingerie Brand To Open Park Slope Store: Reports
The planned Fifth Avenue store stands to be Savage x Fenty's biggest, and only non-mall shop (so far), amid its nationwide expansion.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Rihanna's beloved intimates brand is reportedly opening its first permanent New York City outpost in Park Slope.
Savage x Fenty, the pop star's lingerie-slash-loungewear label, is slated to open at 182 Flatbush Avenue, Women's Wear Daily reported, citing sources close to the brand.
A spokesperson for the building's real estate firm confirmed with Patch that the building has been leased as of the beginning of February, but would not comment on the future tenant. (Savage x Fenty also didn't respond to WWD's requests for comment on the store.)

Sources told the site, though, that construction on the store is underway, and should be completed in a "few months."
The three-story building stands to be Savage x Fenty's biggest, and only freestanding shop (so far) amid its nationwide expansion — the brand launched exclusively online in 2018, but Rihanna announced plans to open a handful of brick-and-mortar stores this year.

"2022, we coming in HOT! we bout to bring you a whole new #SavageXFenty experience with the launch of our brick-and-mortar retail stores!" she tweeted in January.
Savage x Fenty's first store opened in a Las Vegas mall last month followed by another store in a Los Angeles mall this month. Other shops are planned for Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington DC, according to Rihanna.
The Park Slope outpost, known as the Triangle Building, has been vacant for a decade, since its former longtime tenant Triangle Sports sold the spot in 2012.
Since then the prominent building — located across the street from the Barclay's Center — has served as a de facto Nike billboard, but remained empty (despite rumors that Hooters, Sephora, or an Apple store might take up residence).
This is the second time in the past month that Rihanna made headlines in the big apple: in January the fashion mogul and pop star announced her pregnancy with rapper A$AP Rocky during a walk in Riverside Park.
