Senior named 'Future Woman of Distinction'.

St. Saviour High School senior Lesego Pearl Nkosi was recently honored by the Girl Scouts of Greater New York at a "Women of Distinction" breakfast event at Cipriani Restaurant in Manhattan.

The breakfast raised a record-setting $365,000 for the Girls Scouts program.  Nkosi currently attends the Park Slope high school but is originally from Pretoria, South Africa.

"The Girl Scout organization has shaped me in countless ways to become a woman of constant service and enrichment to society," Nkosi said in her speech. "Living out the Girl Scout Promise and Law has shaped my life with more purpose and fulfillment, thus giving me the confidence to be bold and take on the world."
