Summer Movies To Screen In Prospect Park: What To Know
Mean Girls, Indiana Jones, and other fan favorites are set to hit the big screen on Long Meadow starting this month.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Grab a blanket — movie nights under the stars are coming back to Prospect Park.
The summer movie series in Prospect Park, presented by Paramount+, is set to return later this month, reviving the beloved tradition of weekly films on Brooklyn’s backyard, the Long Meadow.
“There’s no better way to spend a summer night than a movie in the park,” said Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso. “I’m so thrilled Paramount+ Movie Nights in Brooklyn are returning for yet another year with an exciting lineup of movies at some of Brooklyn’s most iconic public spaces."

Kicking off on July 30, the free films will begin shortly after sundown in the north end of the Long Meadow, found near the Grand Army Plaza entrance.

Mean Girls
July 30

The event series is free and open to the public, with no RSVP required for entry.
“We are grateful to Borough President Reynoso for continuing this long-cherished tradition of bringing our community together for free movie nights under the stars in Brooklyn’s backyard,” said Morgan Monaco, president of the Prospect Park Alliance, the nonprofit that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park.
