Supermarket Employee Shot During Robbery In Park Slope: Reports
A supermarket employee is recovering from a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon in Park Slope.

PARK SLOPE, NY — A supermarket employee was shot during a robbery in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn Friday, according to media reports.
The robbery happened Friday afternoon at the Royal Supermarket at 1419 8th Ave., PIX11 reported. Police believe the suspect was armed and demanded money before an argument with the employee ensued.
According to reports, the suspect fired three shots, and one hit the employee in the leg. ABC7 reported that the victim went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are seeking the robbery suspect. He was described as a man in his 40s wearing a black shirt, army pants and white sneakers. The media reports did not indicate that anything was stolen during the robbery.
