THE WORST THING WE ATE THIS WEEK: Bareburger Breakfast

Although I love , I did not like their breakfast.

A few things were amiss from the start at this Seventh Avenue joint, their waffle maker was broken, so I couldn’t have the chicken and waffles I was eyeing.

So I went with The Lumberjack: 2 eggs any style, blackened maple bacon or sausage, waffle. And as I said before there were no waffles to be had so it was substituted with “French fried hash,” a slimy, soggy array of French fries, peppers and onions.

The eggs were great, but the sausage came in three tiny strips, way too small to be in a dish called “The Lumberjack.”

Maybe I should have gone somewhere else, maybe it was a bad day for the establishment…I just hope next week bears some good grub.
