Tree Lighting To Mark End Of Park Slope's Open Street Season
Park Slope has released details for its annual holiday tree lighting, which will mark the end of the Open Streets season on Fifth Avenue.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Park Slope's Fifth Avenue will enter a new season with its annual holiday tree lighting ceremony later this month, the Business Improvement District has announced.
The annual tree lighting, the first each year in New York City, will mark the end of the Open Streets season on the corridor, which has closed down to cars each Saturday so neighbors could dine, shop and play in certain blocks of the roadway.
The Open Streets program has run every weekend since March 13, a total of 51 weekends this year and 76 since the program launched in 2020.
