The first attack occurred on Feb. 20, where a violent thug attacked a man on Flatbush Avenue and Grand Army Plaza near the 2 and 3 train station.

The victim told police that the black man, standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 150 pounds, approached him and said, “What you looking at!” He then whipped out a knife and slashed the victim’s left finger, punched him three times in the head and choked his neck. After the attack, the thug, who police said was wearing a gray running jacket and had a mustache, fled into Prospect Park at around 8:05 p.m.
